The Kendal project is a Cu-Mo-Au porphyry target located in a deeply incised canyon approximately 40 kilometers north of Terrace, in BC's Golden Triangle. In 2023, Serac was contracted to determine an access route to the canyon, construct a helipad, and trail for Red Canyon Resources. During this reconnaissance, rock sampling was also completed.
The Dewdrop property hosts several epithermal Au and porphyry Cu exploration targets in the Yerington district of the northern Walker Lane trend in Nevada. Jurassic porphyry copper systems, such as Yerington and Ann Mason, overprinted by younger Jurassic intrusions and much younger Miocene epithermal Au-Ag mineralization associated with the northern Walker Lane trend which hosts the Comstock Lode. Serac provided project management, facilitating a ZTEM survey, soil sampling, and property scale mapping and sampling
An alkalic porphyry Cu-Au system, the Big Bulk project centers on a mineralized Jurassic diorite intrusive complex exhibiting complex structural dismemberment. In 2021, Serac oversaw the implementation of a six-hole drill program to test the porphyry mineralization, complemented by additional sampling and mapping activities.
Miller Mountain is an epithermal gold exploration project covering 7.5 kilometers strike length in Idaho's Trans-Challis fault zone. Gold-bearing veins in the project areas dominantly displaying epithermal characteristics. Serac managed all stages, from designing and implementing helicopter-borne geophysical surveys and soil sampling grids to mapping and incorporating data into 3D models for successful drill permitting within a National Forest.
The Mocoa Project is a Cu-Mo porphyry deposit in the Putumayo region of Colombia and part of the Eastern Columbian Cordillera. During work programs in 2022-2023, Serac established a comprehensive database, developed a core logging methodology, and created a 3D model for drill planning and targeting. Prioritizing community engagement, Serac trained local teams in Canadian mineral exploration best practices, ensuring they could participate meaningfully in the project.
The Pearl property hosts a porphyry copper prospect immediately north of BHP’s past producing San Manuel-Kalamazoo mining complex. Between 2021 and 2023, Serac provided project management, facilitating a ZTEM survey, designing/executing property scale soils and mapping to refine geologic understanding of mineralization. We also conducted geochronology sampling to confirm the Laramide age of prospective intrusive units.
South Bullfrog is an epithermal gold project within the Bullfrog district sitting between Augusta's Bullfrog and Reward deposits and AngloGold's Silicon, Merlin, and North Bullfrog deposits. The area hosts primarily low-sulfidation epithermal deposits. From 2021 to 2023, Serac managed the project, overseeing helicopter and drone magnetic surveys, ground IP, and gravity surveys. We conducted detailed mapping and sampling, followed by 3D modeling to finalize drill targets. Multiple drill pads on two separate targets were then fully permitted on BLM land.
The Scottie Gold project is an epithermal gold deposit located north of the Premier Mine in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. The Scottie gold mine is a historical mine that operated in the 1980's, focused on high-grade sulphide-rich veins. Since 2018, Scottie Resources has continued to explore the veins of the Scottie Gold Mine, as well as surrounding targets including the Domino, Blueberry Contact, and Stockwork Zones. From 2019 to the present, Serac has helped to manage diamond drilling programs, database management, mapping and sampling work, 3D modelling, and project operations.
The Paradigm properties host hot-spring generated sedimentary lithium and boron prospects within paleo evaporite and playa settings formed during active basin and range system evolution. Serac completed desktop research and targeting, bedrock mapping, and rock sampling work, leading to a district scale GIS targeting workspace that generated numerous encouraging prospects.
The Calico property hosts an epithermal silver-barite deposit within the Calico Mountains near Barstow California. Historically, the Calico district developed several productive silver mines and for a time was the largest silver producer in the USA. Serac completed reconnaissance-style bedrock mapping and rock sampling to produce a GIS workspace used for drill targeting.
The Georgia River project hosts an epithermal gold vein system within Hazelton volcano-sedimentary rocks south of Stewart in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. Since 2021, Serac has conducted target evaluation, mapping, sampling, 3D geologic modeling, drill planning, permitting, budgeting, and database management.
Epithermal Au exploration project centered on the historic Shaharald mine within California’s Mojave Desert. High-sulfidation epithermal deposit with gold and silver occurring in quartz-pyrite veins and disseminated with pyrite in clay altered wall rock. Serac has conducted reconnaissance level sampling as well as preliminary permitting in 2023-2024.
The Mineral Creek project is an orogenic Au project located on Vancouver Island close to the town of Port Alberni. In the fall of 2023 Serac assisted Theia Gold with their inaugural drill program performing several roles including core logging, geo-teching, core cutting, and drill management.
Big Red, located just north of Telegraph Creek in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, is an alkalic porphyry Cu-Au target. Between 2020 and 2021, Serac provided field teams for sampling, prospecting, and mapping, incorporating rope access techniques. In 2022, we managed a 2,700-meter drill program targeting the suspected porphyry and conducted further fieldwork involving soil sampling, prospecting, and mapping.
The Premier Gold Mine is an advanced-stage epithermal gold deposit progressing towards full-scale underground production. Serac logged exploration core for brownfield exploration around the historic, past-producing Premier and Big Missouri Mines, digitized historical data, and created an underground database. This data was then linked to Leapfrog and Deswik software for 3D analysis.
Scottie Resources' regional properties include a large land package of both greenfield and brownfield areas, encompassing VMS, epithermal gold, and Cu-Au porphyry styles of mineralization and deposits. Since 2020, Serac has performed target evaluation, database management, GIS and 3D modeling, and technical report writing. Additionally, we have conducted comprehensive field work, including prospecting, geochemical sampling, mapping, and rope-assisted steep work.
